Crows Nest Soft Drinks is an iconic local business, 117 years in the making. They are well known for fantastic flavours and an old-fashioned work ethic, and have survived many tough times before. Hampton's Emeraude
I would like to encourage everyone to support their local food and hospitality industries as much as possible. Many local businesses - just like Emeraude at Hampton - have made innovative changes to their operations. Why not make the most of our beautiful autumn weather, order a takeaway coffee or treat, and support a local business at the same time.
SPAR and Newsagency serving Goombungee
It's great to see the locals supporting the new small business owners of the Goombungee SPAR and Newsagency who in turn are doing a wonderful job serving the local community.
We can all do our best to play our role in stimulating the economy and creating local support during these difficult times.
Please support your local during COVID-19.
A shout out today for another great Condamine business - the Meringandan Hotel! As we head in to the long weekend with a little more freedom, please support your local in any way you can.
Oakey Beef - Rising to the challenges of COVID-19
I am so proud to see many great businesses, such as Oakey Beef, rise to the challenges presented by the current COVID 19 pandemic restrictions. We are all doing our bit to stop the spread and the staff and management at Oakey Beef have been operating at the highest levels of care. I would love to hear how other businesses are coping out there - what changes and challenges have you met with and overcome?

Pat Weir at Ashtons Butchery
Small businesses are thriving in the Condamine electorate including Ashton's Butchery - Pittsworth and Dalby. I visited Ashton's in Pittsworth recently and I was impressed with the quality of the produce for sale and the progressiveness of this locally owned and operated business.

Young families need our support
"Our future depends on young families, and that's why I intend to be part of a team that will put downward pressure on cost of living expenses like car registration and electricity."
Airport freight and Agriculture
The importance of agriculture to the Queensland economy cannot be understated, it is a diverse and vibrant industry to be in and my electorate of Condamine is in the very heart of some of the most valuable and rich farming land in Australia. The capacity to transport fresh food and produce directly to the end user from the new Freight Terminal at Wellcamp will develop new markets for our local producers, and ensure we maintain our reputation for providing clean, green fresh food to the world.
